Our mission is to transforms civilian volunteers into disciple, competent, and committed Scouts ready to fight and win the nation's wars. We will perform this mission in accordance with the US Army 19D10 Program Of Instruction (POI) standard. The mission is not subjective in nature. The Army has an established standard.
More important than the 19D10-mission requirement, we will develop our permanent party Soldiers and Civilians. The Command Team less unconcerned about the outside perception of the organization and more concerned about the internal perception of our organization. Professionals take care of their team and focus on smallest internal details of their team. As we achieve, we increase our expectation of greater achievements for our team.
2-15 will remain a team-oriented organization focused on producing the most lethal, agile, and disciplined 19O10s for the world's number #1 Army. We will develop all members (Soldiers, Families, NCOs, and Officers) of the formation for continued service in the US Army as exceptional leaders. As an organization we will build grit, experience, skill, and mastery through trust, failure, repetition, competition; most importantly, we will limit organizational priorities. We will focus our attention on the fundamentals and conduct regular evaluations of our performance. We will collectively establish annual goals (defined) to access our improvement.
The Lion Vision. The Lion Squadron, grounded in the Army Values, is a high performing, disciplined, competent and competitive team committed to training the future generation of the United States Cavalry to a high standard and building ready Army Families.
