"Improving readiness, discipline and morale by providing competent, timely and professional legal services to the Fort Moore Military Community"

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Fort Moore Legal Assistance page! We offer a wide range of services to all individuals entitled to our legal assistance. We encourage you to explore the topic specific tabs in the left-hand margin for Fact Sheets, FAQs and other useful tips, information and links regarding your legal issue.

Eligible clients

If you are entitled to legal assistance, our office can provide advice concerning personal, non-business, civil legal problems, including preparation of some legal documents. We are limited to assisting only those eligible clients with noncommercial, non-criminal matters.

It is very important that you ask the legal office to review and explain questionable legal documents before you sign them. If you are unable to resolve a problem yourself, it is best to seek legal advice as soon as possible since delay rarely makes things better and the law may limit your remedy if you do not act quickly.

Please remember: In general, Army regulations and staffing considerations do not permit our attorneys to represent you in civil court. Except in very rare circumstances, you will need to engage a civilian attorney for any in-court representation that is required.
