  • LODGING: Fort Moore provides lodging for all Army component students by exception. The goal is to lodge all Army military students on post either at Abrams Hall (Bldg 1670, Front Desk, 7350 Ingersoll St, Fort Moore, GA 31905) or in barracks. Army students residing in Abrams Hall are covered under the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program and must have a valid ATRRS reservation (R) to receive a room entitlement. Students arriving without a valid reservation may request to stay in Abrams Hall on a space available basis and must provide a means of payment upon arrival to Abrams Hall (706) 689-0067.
  • Barracks: Housing will be provided in the training company barracks for all enlisted personnel in the pay grades E-1 through E-6. Soldiers must clean their living areas daily and perform additional duties as directed.
  • Hotels for TDY status Commissioned or Warrant Officers and BEQs for NCOs (E-7 thru E-9) will be reserved by MCoE with Abrams Hall (706) 689-0067.
  • PCS Status Personnel: Post Guest House lodging is available to PCS status personnel. Contact the Fort Moore Billeting Office at (706) 689-0067 for booking.
  • Family Members Visiting Fort Moore for BAC Graduation: Post Guest House (The Gavin House) lodging is available to the student’s family members who are at Fort Moore for a short time to view Jump Week jumps and attend the BAC graduation ceremonies. Contact the Fort Moore Billeting Office at (706) 689-0067 for booking. The actual graduation can vary based on weather and operational constraints. It is highly recommended to call the 507th Battalion Staff Duty at (706) 545-6492 prior to any travel. Students are briefed to keep their graduation guests informed of graduation changes and the US Army Airborne School Facebook page is typically kept up to date on gradation changes. The goal is to lodge all Army military students on post. All off-post student room nights requirements will be booked through the Fort Moore Lodging Office at local contracted hotels. Fort Moore will, as appropriate, recall resident service school students from local hotels. The recall process will be accomplished during initial check in. Students will be advised in writing when on post lodging becomes available. Off-post contracted hotels are within eleven (11) miles of Fort Moore and some provide transportation to and from the airport.
  • MEALS AND DINING FACILITIES. All Airborne students with ATRRS reservations for the Basic Airborne Course will have meals provided. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner meals will be provided, 7 day a week and on Federal Holidays, for the duration of the course. Meal cards will be issued to all students, regardless of rank, for use in the Airborne Dining Facility (DFAC). Students in the grade of E-1 thru E-6 are required to eat in the Airborne DFAC and will be marched there for meals. Officers and enlisted students in the grade of E7 or above, should receive per diem on their orders, and can eat in the DFAC or may elect to purchase meals out of pocket; when POI allows. The Airborne DFAC is located as close as possible to the main post training areas for convenience. During Jump week all meals will be MRE’s for all Soldiers.
  • MAIL. The S-1(Student Accountability Section), 1-507th PIR maintains a roster of all personnel in training. It is advised that students should avoid mailing items to Airborne School due to the short duration and typical transit time for mail to arrive. No mail will be forwarded if a person has already departed Airborne School, all mail in this case will be returned to sender. If needed during students stay at Airborne School have your mail addressed to:

    Students Mail:
Rank Full Name (SSG Gregory I. Joe)
    Roster # (N318)
    (Your Company), 1-507 PIR
    Building #______
    7481 Riordon Street
    Fort Moore, GA 31905

Upon arrival and assignment, substitute your assigned company to expedite mail delivery. Do not have mail sent to you during the third week of training; you will soon graduate and redirecting of mail will result in mail delivery delay.
