Mission

On behalf of the Commanding General and the Bandmaster of the United States Army Maneuver Center of Excellence, we would like to welcome you to our website.

For over 50 years, the Maneuver Center of Excellence Band (283d Army Band) has taken great pride in entertaining the Soldiers, military families, and civilians of the Fort Moore, Columbus, and Phenix City communities. The Band's performances create esprit de corps among Soldiers and veterans, as well as provide patriotic spirit within the civilian community.

The members of the Maneuver Center of Excellence Band hope that you will enjoy these pages, and we appreciate this opportunity to acquaint you with the Band's various ensembles and responsibilities. Militarily and musically, the Band lives by the MCoE motto, "One Force, One Fight!"
