Reporting Instructions

Non-resident students will report to Abrams Hall NLT 2359 HR local on the Class Report Date. All Soldiers attending MMTC will report on the Class Start Date of Training at 0600 in OCP and will immediately begin in-processing at BLDG 4965. For in-processing bring your STP, DA 705 and DA 5500/5501 if required, DA 7801, and Unit pre-execution checklist. After in-processing ensure you have a notebook and writing utensils to begin class immediately after in-processing.

MMTC is located within Camp Powel at BLDG 4965 on Harmony Church in Ft. Moore. BLDG 4965 is about 25 minutes from Abrams Hall. Waitlist/Walk-on students will need to be assigned to Ft Moore, GA. Download the GuideOn application to your cell phone to help with navigation on Ft. Moore.

DTS information

Lodging. Fort Moore provides lodging for all Army component students by exception. The goal is to lodge all Army military students on post at Abrams Hall (BLDG 1670). Students residing in Abrams Hall are covered under the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program and must have a valid ATRRS reservation (R) to receive a room entitlement. Students arriving without a valid reservation may request to stay in Abrams Hall on a space available basis and must provide a means of payment upon arrival. Meals. FFor all TDY courses, the order issuing official will direct government provided meals seven days per week at no cost to the Soldier’s sending commands. Cost of government meals are centrally funded by the government, therefore, per diem for meals is not authorized. Students are no longer issued DA FORM 712 (Meal Card) and use the common access card (CAC) for meal entitlements. Soldiers must ensure their unit S1 or designated agency programs the meal entitlement for us in the dining facilities before they depart their unit.

Transportation. Most courses on main post are within walking distance from Abrams Hall to the training location. MMTC is NOT, MMTC is located on Harmony Church which is 9.5 miles one-way. No government transportation is available from billeting to training and back for the course. The training location is outside of walking distance. Sending units are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to fund a rental vehicle.
